A really great event was recently held in Hungary by the telecom giant DJUICE, in partnership with Leo Burnett and the Red Cross. The goal was to encourage youngsters to donate blood.
But how to make young people to donate blood in a country where rates of donations are extremely low? The solution was to organize a “Vampire Party”. Young people were invited to donate blood and in exchange they were given an invitation to the party and could also get a “vampire bite” on a neck. Withing only a few hours more than 25 liters of blood were donated and the party was a success.
