Warby Parker and advertising agency Partners & Spade have released this beautiful and funny TV spot recently. The ad features a couple of intellectuals. If you think they are nerdy nerds, think again. They get involved in a dirty business right in the library! Whether it's an extreme boxing match, an illegal poker or dirty dances on the tables – everything is possible with the stylish glasses from Warby Parker.
The commercial features people, who are literally falling from the sky into their new Target clothes. Falling for fall – the company's new motto. According to the video effects supervisor Ryan Knowles, it is something between sky diving and high fashion. In the second video you can find out behind the scenes footage, which reveals how the diving was shot.
To promote the fashionable eyewear, the creatives made this slow motion cartoon short. Designer Alia Penner selected images from „1950s magazines, collections of Victorian wallpaper, Japanese architecture textbooks and more“. As for the huge walking eyeballs, credits goes to the legendary avant-garde band The Residents.
