Google Chrome has released a brand new hilarious campaign recently. Actually, the campaign is slightly ridiculous. But that's the point! Google Chrome presents its features, that allows you to save all your data on the various devices, but in one web space. The baby can chew your laptop, the dog can tear your documents – that does not matter. The creatives have even used a scene from “Family Guy”. See the original excerpt below.
The web video features Dallas Clayton. One day he decided to make a book for his little son. He browsed Google about how to make it. After he wrote, illustrated and bound the book, Dallas put it on the internet for free. It turned out to be web success. Publishers have approached him very soon and now he is traveling around the world, meets kids and promotes his little creation.
The ad is from Google's campaign "The Web is What You Make Of It". It features Jess – a girl who has just come to college – and her dad. They keep the bond using Google Chrome: they communicate, she presents her boyfriend, dad inspires her during the hard times. The playful style of the video is catching.
The video shows the success of Julie Deane & The Cambridge Satchel Company. It is a demonstration of how new technologies work wonders. Deane had an idea for a bag from an old picture. She made a bag and it turned into a fashionable accessory. She used the web and made her name an international success story.
Angry Birds is the game on the web. Three birds in the video are voiced by the game's creators: Peter Vesterbacka (CMO of Rovio), Jaakko Lisalo (Senior Game Designer of Angry Birds) and Serdar Soganci (Web Games Manager). They talk about the game's releasing process and it is hysterical. They make fun of one another. And, of course, get angry.
Google Creative Lab and BBH New York have released a new commercial introducing Google Chrome. It is part of a larger campaign, which introduces audience to Chrome, Google+ and other products. New commercial is like short movie – very cute. It follows the couple‘s life and all that good moments they had together.
