Bundaberg and advertising agency Leo Burnett from Sydney have released this amusing video spot recently. The commercial features a bunch of pirates, found on a remote shore. The poor bastards however are not prepared to give up – they sing a song and start building a new ship.
The commercial represents the story of this legendary liquor. The first part of the video takes place at the remote outskirts of Australia in 1885. The factory is struck by the crisis and is no longer making profit. However, there is no better day than today to make some improvements. Other part shows flourishing rum business and fancy entertainments by the factory holders.
The video takes place under the water. It features a catfish and a bizarre narrator who appears in the end of the ad. He tells the story about the catfish, which has 180,000 tastetubes all over its body. That must feel like a giant tongue. Unfortunately, it does not have a privilege to taste the rum.
