T-Mobile has produced some memorable commercials in recent times, based around invading public spaces. Following from successful ads like a flash-mob style dance routine in London’s Liverpool Street station and a sing-along in Trafalgar Square, T-Mobile has been turned Heathrow’s airport into T-Mobile television commercial.
Latest T-Mobile Life’s for Sharing TV commercial Welcom back shows thousands of passengers landing at London’s Heathrow airport which were welcomed by a singing flash mob. Watch teaser for that T-Mobile event in Heathrow Terminal 5 below.
Travelers who arrived at Terminal 5 of Heathrow Airport on 27th October were greeted by hundreds of happy people clapping and singing songs, from a track list compiled specifically for welcoming Brits returning back home, including Mel Torme’s Comin’ Home Baby and Mark Morrison’s Return of the Mack. Hundreds more onlookers joined in, including cabin crew, taxi drivers and baggage handlers.

Also there are some opinions that this T-Mobile commercial can be influenced by Improv Everywhere team which few years ago welcomed home total strangers at JFK airport or French rail company SNCF and DDB Paris welcome and send-off campaign.
