Insurance company State Farm presented a 9/11 tribute that aired during NFL games on Sunday.
Beautifully directed by Mr. Spike Lee.
It shows kids going through New York City to the 9/11 memorial for firefighters, who saved people on the tragic day but in the cost of their own lives. Singing Jay Z’s and Alicia Keys’ “Empire state of mind” they demonstrate respect and gratitude. Slogan writes “Never forgotten. Forever grateful” referring to the saviors.
The campaign received controversial reactions though. To its critics, using children seems a little unpleasant. But there are lots of fans as well. You have to admit that Spike Lee’s directing adds cozy spirit to it.
Watch and listen, tell us if you liked it.
