Sainsbury’s “Perfect Christmas” commercial with Jamie Oliver

UK retailer Sainsbury’s has launched its “Perfect Christmas” campaign featuring Jamie Oliver.

Firstly aired on 15 November, during the commercial break for Coronation Street, the “Perfect Christmas” ad aims to highlight the fact that Sainsbury’s has everything viewers need for the perfect Christmas. This 60 seconds ad is the first in a new Christmas campaign also airing will be a series of shorter adverts focusing on top quality Christmas products including several from the recently re-launched Taste the Difference range.

The commercial also promoting a competition giving people the chance to win the perfect Christmas delivered to their door. This prize includes snow, decorations, a choir, fireworks and hampers of food. For more information about the competition go to http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/perfectchristmas.

Sainsbury’s Perfect Christmas

Sainsbury’s has also signed up to be the main sponsor of Christmas entertainment programming on UKTV channels such as Dave and Gold.

The TV commercial was created by AMV BDDO advertising agency and directed by Adrian Moat. Media planned and bought by PHD.
