The Royal Life Saving Association of Western Australia has launched a new TV ad campaign with a single goal – to reduce the number of water related accidents in Australia.
The first commercial below features a heavily drunk guy who is dancing in some party. At the same time flashes of the same guy struggling for his life under water are shown. The message the Royal Life Saving Association wants to deliver is ‘don’t drink and drown’.
The second spot shows a number of dirty pools and toys which had been left in the pools of near them. The narrator warns that it takes seconds for a child to drown but a whole lifetime to get over it.
