Myspace has released a new impressive $20 million campaign recently.
The spot features people, who are depicted as the creative individuals, interacting in a space, allowing to express themselves and reach out for others. The spot also features Pharrell, Santigold and Mac Miller. The amusing song is “Mallrats (La La La)” by The Orwells.
Christian Parkes, head of marketing at Myspace, said: “We really wanted to really represent the people that make this brand. Because it’s not us in this room—we’re the guys behind the scenes. But it’s really about the community. The tone and spirit … it’s irreverent, slightly anarchistic, that’s the tone and the attitude and the feeling.”
