Kia Commercial: Fatherism

Kia Commercial: Fatherism

Kia and advertising agency Innocean Australia have released this amusing video commercial.

The video is from the wider campaign, that has just launched in Australia. The ad features dad and his two kids, who hang out together leaving mom outside their group. They literally prefer to wash dad’s car to mom’s home made cup cakes. According to the campaign, expect a little fatherism with Kia.

Terrible ad. Truly creepy and unpleasant. No appeal at all. Misogynistic.

I found this ad disturbing, and sexist, to say the least. It does a poor job of selling the Kia as a family vehicle. Sorry, guys; take this one back to the drawing board.
