Gatorade commercial: Jordan Art

Ahead of the 6 special edition Gatorade bottles in honor of Michael Jordan’s induction into Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame this September, the sports drink maker Gotorade using over 14,000 Gatorade Limited Edition Jordan series bottles, pieced together mosaic to re-create one of MJ’s greatest G moments.

Over 14,000 Gatorade bottles were placed in a carefully-engineered sequence into holes of numerous light boxes. The work was completed in 16 hours in a Chicago playground to the beat of makeshift drums made from Gatorade bottles.

For its unveiling, a few special VIPs joined in, including Jordan’s former teammate Scottie Pippen and track & field star Jackie Joyner-Kersee, who both placed a few bottles for the finishing touch.
