DirecTV and New York’s creative agency Grey have launched new commercials for its campaign.
The first features a guy who is waiting for a cable guy. While he is waiting he looks through a window and sees two men putting a dead body into a car. They notice him. Therefore he directs his own death and even goes to his own funeral. The video suggests: Don’t attend your own funeral. Get a DirecTV.
“We thought, ‘Hey, wouldn’t it be funny if this annoying cable issue spiraled into a domino effect of events that turned into total awfulness for you?’ ” said Grey associate creative director Steven Fogel.
The second ad is as well as funny as the first. It features the Hollywood star Charlie Sheen. See what happens when you face him.
