Creative campaign from Philips: Parallel Lines

Creative campaign from Philips: Parallel Lines

After winning Grand Prix at Cannes for the much admired Carousel work, Philips has launched a new inspiring campaign “Parallel Lines” which is also focused on movies.

The theme of this new Philips campaign: “There are millions of ways to tell a story. There’s only one way to watch one.”

Philips challenged directors from Ridley Scott Associates (such movies as Alien, Blade Runner and Gladiator) to submit film ideas around a few lines of dialogue. Six lines of dialogue were written by DDB and five directors (Greg Fay, Johnny Hardstaff, Carl Erik Rinsch, Jake Scott and Hi-Sim) have turned them into five very different films.

You can watch those films below:

Jake Scott’s “The Hunt”:

Johnny Hardstaff’s “Darkroom”:

Greg Fay’s “El Secreto de Mateo”:

Hi-Sim’s “Jun & The Hidden Skies”:

Carl Erik Rinsch’s “The Gift”:
