Bridgestone SuperBowl 2009 Commercial: Taters

Tire manufacturer Bridgestone aired its first Super Bowl commercial in 2008. The company again purchased two thirty-second spots that aired during Super Bowl XLIII on February 1, 2009.

In the Bridgestone Taters SuperBowl 2009 Commercial Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, make their Super Bowl debut. The classic Hasbro toy characters take a ride in their convertible on a picturesque mountain road which is stopped short due to sheep blocking the road. Slamming on the brakes, Mrs. Potato Head’s “mouth” pops off and switches her eyes to enraged ones.
