The ad is set on the stage of a reality TV show. The message asks people to reflect on the time spent on TV shows or less important matters while others are suffering.
A patient is portrayed as a contestant in the show, announcing her illness and concerns. Yet the judges are not moved by her story. Similar to the judges, many people in the public see medical conditions as other people’s issues. They do not understand that they can make a difference by simply making a blood donation.
In a world where we care more about reality shows than with the people around us make an analogy with a real situation about giving me blood seems a little shocking, but that should cause a good effect.
